What is the Gala?

The Gala is JMCHS’s annual fundraiser that helps raise valuable funds for our needs based financial assistance.  More than 70% of our community utilizes these funds.  The funds raised help keep the cost of JMCHS affordable for all who wish to attend.  


How Can Parents participate?


Volunteer -Donate your time helping with this fun event.  Volunteering is a fun way to meet new people and knock out some parent service hours.  Many hands make light work, so pitch in on one of the many committees to help make the night a success.


Donate – Make a tax-deductible donation. We are always looking for travel opportunities (Vacation Homes, Boat Excursions, Cabins, Hotel Stays, and Airfare). Unique entertainment options, think sports tickets, VIP experiences, box and suite evenings, restaurant gift cards, and the like.  Help create a once in a lifetime memory for someone with a unique and an outrageous experience- Skydiving, Rafting, Deep Sea Fishing, Dinner or an Encounter with a celeb, whatever you can imagine we need!  


Attend – Become a Sponsor attend the event. Have your company be a corporate sponsor of the event (sponsor table and messaging in the event program).  Sponsor a table as a group and enjoy the party with your friends. Buy single or couple tickets and come to the best party in town!! We hope to see you there.

What do we wear?

Cocktail attire is encouraged so break out that little black dress and suit jacket.  

Is Cash Accepted at the Event?

No, we are cashless event.  We extremely encourage pre-registering your credit card for the event when you purchase your ticket to the Gala.  This helps speed up the check in process and allows you to get to the party faster. 

 

Do I need to purchase a ticket to bid in the Online Silent Auction? 

No, but you will need to register.  All current Judge supporters will be sent a public bidding URL to register.  This will require a credit card, a vaild email address and a mobile number. 

What is a Party Board?

A party board is a themed event where all tickets sold go towards our Gala fundraising goals. Party Boards are a great way to socialize and get to know other JMCHS parents.  

If I win a silent auction item how do I pick it up?

A representative from the Advancement office will contact you after the Gala.  We can ship items to you, excluding packages with alcohol, or you are welcome to come JMCHS to pick your winnings up.

How does bidding work?

Gala bidding is easy and accesable! All JMCHS supporters will receive a link to bid.  You will need to register an email and a credit card to participate in the online auction.  You can use your phone or mobile device to participate.  You will access the link and be able to see the silent auction packages on the bidding website.
